Showing a group booking as one booking on the calendar, with the number of people in the group, would be nice because 1)it would be much cleaner and 2)we could see how many people are in a booking at a glance.

I upvote Jill's explanation and even I feel the same.
I think we should have an option to open or close the grouped bookings in the calendar! That way we can apply status or cancel individual reservations inside that group booking, and when we are done, we just close the booking.
That way we have all the functionality that we have now, but with a much cleaner UI! :D
I agree with the above comments. a way to see at a glance how many in a group with the ability to tip down the details and edit individuals as needed would be idea.
YES!!! Difficult to asses total quantities/quantities available! (And nearly impossible to know how many bookings are chained together.) Grouping then by client AND displaying a total in each column at far right please! (showing total slots booked in each column)
Also an existing issue where deleting a "chain of grouped bookings" doesn't always delete them all. (Sometimes it takes multiple tries to delete all grouped bookings for a client.)
